Question 1

What is the difference between the $99/month plan and the $3,995 build-to-own license?

Accepted Answer

Monthly Access at $99/month gives you the full platform on a shared instance with your data completely isolated from other organizations. You get all 25 modules, the AI assistant, and the ability to export your data anytime. Build-to-Own at $3,995 gives you a dedicated instance that belongs to your organization permanently. The key difference is ownership: monthly subscribers use the platform, build-to-own clients own it. If you are not sure which is right, start monthly. You can upgrade to build-to-own at any time, and we will migrate your entire history into your new dedicated instance at no extra cost.

Question 2

Do I need a credit card to start the trial?

Accepted Answer

No. The 15-day trial is completely free. You only enter payment information when you decide to subscribe.

Question 3

What happens when my trial ends?

Accepted Answer

You'll be prompted to subscribe for $99/month. If you choose not to, your account will be paused but your data will be preserved for 90 days.

Question 4

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel from the billing page in your dashboard. No contracts, no cancellation fees. You keep access until the end of your billing period.

Question 5

How many users are included?

Accepted Answer

The monthly plan includes 2 users. Need more? Additional seats are available for an added monthly fee, contact us for seat pricing. Build-to-Own includes up to 10 users.

Question 6

Is my data secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your data is stored in an encrypted PostgreSQL database. We never share or sell your data. You can export everything at any time.

Question 7

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Accepted Answer

On the Build-to-Own plan, the $99/month managed support is optional. If you stop paying it, your platform keeps running with all your data intact. You just manage it yourself. On the Monthly Access plan, if you cancel you get 30 days to export everything. We provide full data export tools so you can download your grants, proposals, funder records, documents, and research. Your data is never held hostage on any tier.

Question 8

How does DWR Grant Writer Pro compare to NEON ONE, Instrumentl, GrantHub, or Submittable?

Accepted Answer

DWR Grant Writer Pro is a deep grant-management specialist with 25 dedicated modules spanning discovery, AI-assisted writing, compliance automation, financial tracking, and closeout. NEON ONE is a broad nonprofit suite (CRM + fundraising + ticketing) where grant management is a shallow feature. Instrumentl and GrantHub are strong competitors in grant discovery and tracking but do not offer a build-to-own license or AI-assisted writing. See our /compare pages for head-to-head feature comparisons.
